In my darkest moments, I found the light

Those tragic days,

Made the sky so gray,

Often wondered why I’m still alive today,

For it led me astray.

Never imagined getting away,

But I did…because I prayed.

I’ve done everything to end this storm of pain,

Felt like it went on forever and ever,

But when the book I opened,

Turned the storm into gentle rain,

I knew I could break this chain,

For my God forever reigns.
