Let It Go | Poetic Thinker

Is the past keeping you back and stuck? I was once like that...but ever since I turn my focus to God, He helped me to break from it. And now I realized why God put me into that tough situation in the past; For me to hold on to Him. Here's what the Bible says about your past: " Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland."

Let It Go

I just simply let it go, but it ain't easy.

Those tragic days,

Holding my breath till can't breath anymore.

To save you, to please you, to satisfy you.

But when I let it go, cuz can't hold it anymore!...Oof

You have no clue about this!

For all you did was to

Mock me, ignore me, left me.

It pains me to even just imagine it while I'm writing this.

But I never regret it, ya know?

Cuz I realized now why God did that to me

He never waste that opportunity to lift me up

And so I just simply let it go.
