The Significance Of Confessions
By Micah Reign
Ashamed of what I’ve done in the past,
Far too many stupid decisions was made,
There are times when I feel trapped in the past,
Nobody can fully grasp how remorseful I was,
Feeling as if my sins were too much to forgive,
I've got it all bottled up inside of me,
Afraid to talk it out with someone,
For I may frighten them away.
But good news saved my life,
Someone already paid off my sin’s debt,
From thousands of years ago, he sacrificed himself.
So that those who believe in God can be saved.
And those that admit their misdeeds can find mercy.
It’s better to own up our sins to God than to hide them
For I learned that one don’t prosper if they don’t admit their wrongdoings.
